Respite

At Gilgandra Lifestyles we understand that sometimes you just need a little extra care. We are happy to help during these times and have a number of places available for short-term respite. We also realise that the need for extra care isn't planned and can sneak up on you, as such, we can often accommodate short-term respite without an ACAT assessment. Whilst we help you process your ACAT to get you government funded position processed as soon as possible, in the interim, we ask that the family pays the full-fee, due to no government subsidy being available until an ACAT is processed.  

Residential respite places are available at Jack Towney Hostel and Cooee Lodge Hostel.

We also cater for carer respite, pending availability.
